Tips From Pete

It seems crazy to me that people charge so much for computer repair and then offer such bad support, for example telling your customers that "they will loose everything".  If you are a good enough tech then you could offer to back up their files and import things like music, pics and documents, and provide this for extra customer service or even charge a small fee.  Now as far as how much to charge a customer, it shouldn't be real cheap either because people that can help you usually have so much time and experience that they have gained over the years and their knowledge and help for your computer is worth something, just like a doctor, mechanic, plumber is worth it if they are offering a fair price (not to cheap "you get what you pay for" and not to expensive "over charging") for their service.
